Stephen J. Frasier was born in Evansville IN, passed away June 11, 2023. He is survived by his life partner Nancy E. Kelly. Brother Ralph Frasier (Lannie), of Evansville, IN. Sister Tegie Ramsey (Mike), of New Smyrna Beach, FL. He has 5 nieces and 9 nephews. Daughters, Jenell M. Fox and Stacey R. Guzman (Mark) of AZ, 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Father Ambrose and Mother Jenell, Sisters, Dixie and Geriann and Brother Donald. Granddaughter Ashley.
Steve moved to New Smyrna Beach when he was young. This is where he found his love of the water, fishing and baseball.
Steve enlisted in the Navy out of high school and served aboard the USS Kittyhawk during the Vietnam war. He was proud of his service.
Steve's family was his happiest achievement. Raising his daughters and grandchildren brought him joy. Coaching their sports teams and helping them grow to be the people they were going to be, made him proud.
Steve worked for PG&E for 40 years. Starting out as a groundmen to a lineman in Salinas and ended up in Management in Fresno. His career took him all over the service territory and found him working with clerical staff all the way to the CEO. He was a fountain of knowledge that he passed on to everyone who was willing to listen.
He was active at St. Luke Methodist Church and did several missions to the Indian Reservations. He travelled to Guatemala and built a Church, and installed the electricity and water for the community.
The services will be held on July 10 at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, 836 E. Nees Ave. Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m. with services immediately following.
Steve will be inurned at Parklawn Cemetery and Mausoleum in Evansville, IN. on August 8, 2023.
