Stefan James Wagner

Stefan was born in Fresno, CA, on April 23, 1992. He was the first child of Jill and Bryan Wagner. Stefan grew up in Fresno and graduated from Edison High School in 2010. All four years of high school Stefan swam and played water polo and formed many lasting friendships. He attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where he was majoring in biomedical engineering. Stefan was a fun-loving, thoughtful, and kind individual. He always had an easy smile and loved the outdoors; some of his favorite activities were snow skiing, hiking and body surfing.

Stefan is survived by his father Bryan and his mother Jill; siblings Andreas, Hans and Anneliese; paternal grandparents Ruth and Jim Wagner; maternal grandparents Nancy and Francis Weaver; his uncles Kevin, Bill and Matt, and his aunt Jana on his father’s side; his uncle Charles and aunt Sharon on his mother’s side; and many loving cousins.

Stefan will be dearly missed by his family and many friends, but he will be forever in our hearts and we look forward to seeing him again someday.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church located at 1540 M Street in Fresno.
