1943 - 2018
Sheila Marie Pollock was born on July 22, 1943 to Bob and Ruth Ussery in Fresno, CA. Sheila was the second of three children. She passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, with her son, her daughter and her sister all at her bedside. Sheila had been diagnosed with cancer in November 2017.
She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1961. Sheila retired from medical billing in 2008 and has spent the last few years relaxing and getting together with her friends & family to play her favorite games, Yahtzee and Phase 10 and going to play bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ron Pollock, her daughter Terry Haley and husband Chuck, son Randy Heitzig, granddaughters Alina Haley and Alison Heitzig, sister Debbie Dukes and husband Don and very special nieces and nephews. Sheila was preceeded in death by her parents; Bob and Ruth Ussery, brother; Bob Ussery Jr. and son; Marty Chiles.
The family wishes to thank Hinds Hospice and Dr. Hailu for their wonderful care and compassion these past three months.
Visitation will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
A funeral Service will be at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
