Sheila D. Miller was born in Torrance, California on January 4, 1957 and passed away peacefully on October 3, 2018 after battling Early Onset Alzheimer’s for over 7 years. She resided in the mountain communities of Oakhurst and Coarsegold, California the majority of her adult life and graduated from Madera High School in 1975.
Sheila was the youngest of four siblings and loved being called the baby by 8 minutes. She worked for the Association of Realtors in Fresno prior to her illness and also owned her own beauty shop for several years.
She was preceded in death by her Father Durward (D.C. / Dell) Jennings in 1998 and her mother Wanda F. Jennings (Schlumbohm) in 2017.
She is survived by her son Terry Scott Gordineer of Coarsegold, CA. and her grandchildren Tyler and Makenzie Gordineer also of Coarsegold, CA. In addition she is survived by her three sisters; Linda Sewell of Mannford Oklahoma, Nancy Brice of Sacramento, California, and her twin sister, Shirley Scroggins of Clinton, Arkansas.
Sheila fought a courageous battle after being diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s and made many friends while in nursing care. She was pleasant to the very end and many were touched by her beautiful smile.
She will be greatly missed.
