Sarah Jean Stokes

"Jean" was born in Santaquin, Utah on Jan 29, 1928 to Ed and Myrtle Butler. She was the eighth of eleven children. Jean worked for nineteen years as a teacher's aide in Special Education. Her life was centered around her family and her faith in Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Elmer Stokes.

She leaves a legacy of one son and two daughters and their spouses; Doug and Melissa Stokes, Paul and Donna Myers, Mike and Debra Kilner, 19 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren. She is survived by two brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be Friday, 6:00-8:00 pm at Lisle Funeral Home and Saturday, 9:00-9:30 am at the church.

Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1880 Gettysburg Ave. Clovis, on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10:00 am.
