Sarah Irma Rojas-Rij

While surrounded by her family, Irma went home to be with our Lord. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 47 years Roger.

Irma is survived by her three children Edward Rij, John Rij & Sarah Rij van Zoest and her eight wonderful grandchildren. Her brother Art Rojas, cousins Jennie Yáñez & Chela Benjamin and her beloved niece Gloria Jones. Many nieces & nephews as well as all her dear friends.

Irma was active in the Catholic Daughters of America and Central California Boaters Club. She was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. Irma's vibrant personality, kindness and beautiful smile will be sorely missed.

A Visitation for Sarah will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720.

A Rosary Service will occur Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Whitehurst, Sullivan,

burns and Blair Funeral Home 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720.

A Funeral Service will occur Monday, January 31, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 2140 N. Cedar Ave, Fresno, CA 93703.

A Graveside Service will occur Monday, January 31, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Clovis Cemetery District, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.
