Sandra was born in Fresno, California on August 3, 1960 to Wilson Young Marr and Elina Wong Marr. She graduated from Fresno High School and went on to receive a bachelor degree from Fresno State University. She worked for the City of Fresno for 40 years, starting in Utilities and was currently in Parks
and Recreation as a Principal Account Clerk.
Sandra was a one-of-a-kind wife, mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend. She had a smile that lit up a room and a heart filled with love and kindness. If you ever crossed paths with her, you probably were
blessed with her generosity.
Anyone who knew Sandra, knew there was only one color that mattered and it was the color
purple. She liked to read, listen to K-Love Christian radio, Disneyland, dolphins, and late-night shopping
on the Home Shopping Network.
Sandra is survived by her husband Tony Juarez of 36 years; her son, Jason Juarez; Brothers: Jerry Young and his wife Tina, Rickter Marr and his wife Renee’, and Dexter Marr and his wife Sandra; Sisters: Wanda Fong and her husband Glenn, Tina Hiranaga and her husband Donald, Diana Lee and her husband Gary, and Debra Rodriguez and her husband John; Numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandra is preceded in death by parents, Wilson and Elina Marr; Daughter, Sarah Juarez.
We are all saddened that she is no longer here with us but we are comforted by the many special
memories she left behind.
