Samuel Raul Smith was born in Douglas, Arizona on Sept. 10, 1953 and passed away in Fresno California on July 17, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Lynn Smith in 2013.
Samuel is survived by his mother, Carmen Aguirre; his sister Sarina Fry and brother, David Smith; nephew Francisco “Poncho” Aguirre; foster daughter Julia Campbell and her sons; step children Jeremy and Ray; step granddaughter Brittany Garber.
A Service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 1:00 Pm at Whitehurst Funeral Home, 836 E Nees Ave., Fresno CA 93720.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 1:15 pm at the Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 E Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin CA 93203.
