Ruth is survived by their husband, Joe Contreras; son Ronnie Romero; daughters Katherine Hernandez; and Debbie Lopez; brother Barney Navarro; sisters Frances Quezada, Yolanda Shipley, Billie Galaviz, Olivia Lopez, Angie Armenha and Pearl Gonzalez. Ruth also leaves nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A Visitation for Ruth will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, 202 N. Teilman Ave., Fresno, California 93706.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will occur Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, 4636 W. Dakota Ave., Fresno, California 93722. An Interment will follow at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N. Teilman Ave., Fresno, California 93706.
