Roxanna Lea Gale-Smith

July 17,1960 - August 3,2024

Roxanna went to be with the lord unexpectedly on Saturday August 3rd.

Roxanna had a heart of gold and loved everyone. She was born in Fresno California to Edwin Burton Gale and Thelma Maxine Pridemore, she was the youngest of 8. Roxanna graduated high school in June of 1978 pregnant with her first born, in January of 1979 she became a mom to her first son and in 1981 along came her second son. Roxanna was a single mom and worked at J&D meat company. In the summer of 1985 she met her husband and love of her life William, where they created a beautiful life and over came many struggles. In July of 1989 they welcomed their first and only daughter.

Roxanna worked as an office assistant for the Fresno unified school district and was a firm believer in Christ. She loved life and her family. She enjoyed traveling to the coast and being a grandmother to her first and only grandchild, baby Roxie.

Roxanna is survived by her husband of 39 years William Smith, son Roger Daly, daughter Brittany Smith, granddaughter Roxanna Nicole Daly, sister Cassandra Ruiz, brother Bruce Gale and many more nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Roxanna is proceeded in death by her parents Edwin and Maxine Gale, her brothers Gary & Roger, sisters Minetta, Georgina & Arlene, and her son Randy Daly.

Roxanna left a huge void in the lives of many and will be missed immensely.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August 24th at 11am at Grace Place Clovis, 375 5th Street,
