While growing up in France she helped her family in daily living, the rearing of her younger siblings and experienced World War II. After taking a secretarial course she worked in a real estate agency and then managed a tea-room in Puget.
In 1950 she and three of her siblings had the opportunity to come to America. They traveled on the Queen Mary. After arriving in America, they settled in Reedley California with an uncle. A few years later she attended Pacific Bible Institute where she met her future husband Roy Wiens.
On June 21, 1955, Rosette married Roy. Thereafter, they started their life together in San Jose, California. The family grew with the birth of their son Jon-Pierre and daughter Renee. She showered her family with love, they meant the world to her.
Through the years she worked as a secretary, French teacher and waitress. She enjoyed arts and crafts, flower arranging, cooking and her garden. Above all she served the lord with all her heart. Attending church regularly she participated in Sunday School, women's fellowship and had bible study in her home. Rosette shared her testimony with deep conviction and brought joy to all she met through her outgoing and vibrant personality. She often said, "I never met a stranger".
Rosette is survived by her husband of 68 years Roy, son Jon-Pierre (Marla) and daughter Renee (Gus). Siblings: Andre, Christianne, Josette, Leon (Katrina), Germaine as well as many nieces and nephews.
