Bob was born to Wolsey Naden and Ladia Landers in Clovis, California on February 7, 1930. He was raised on a ranch in the Dry Creek area in Clovis, California and graduated from Clovis High School in 1948. He enlisted with the United States Army in 1953.
Bob met the love of his life, Vera, and wed soon after in 1956. They had two children, Lynn Marie, and Robert "Brent". In 1956, Bob, along with Robert Wilson began a steel fabrication plant, Steel Structures, Inc. in Pinedale, California. After retiring from Steel Structures in 1980, Bob began the business Steeltile, corten steel roofing, which he invented and produced in eastern Madera, at The Brickyard Industrial Park, which he also developed.
Bob was an advocate, mentor, and member of the Madera County AG Boosters, St. Peter's Serbian Men's Club, and Golden Valley Chamber of Commerce. He built a wonderful home on the bluffs of the San Joaquin River in Madera, residing there since 1970.
He will be missed by all that had the privilege to know him!!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wolsey and Ladia Naden; and sisters, Betty Taylor, and Gladys Bushey.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Vera; daughter, Lynn Marie Naden of Homer, AK; son, Brent Naden of Sanger, CA; niece, Janice Bushey of Alaska; and nephew, Dale Bushey of Fresno.
Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Monday, September 29, 2014, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.
