Robert was born in Los Angeles, California on July 6, 1923 and passed away in Fresno, California on June 14, 2016.
He was a WW II Veteran, a long time Mendota resident and Maintenance Foreman for the City of Firebaugh.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Macias, son Robert Anthony Macias and daughter Barbara Marie Rasmussen.
He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Barrios and her husband, Daniel; Virgie Whitaker and her husband, Paul, daughter in law Mary Macias, and son in law Bob Rasmussen, 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 484 Quince Street, Mendota starting at 10:00 am and followed by a rosary and mass at 10:30 am. Burial will be at the Fresno Memorial Gardens.
