Bob Kodman is going to be missed! He passed away on May 31st. Bob lived a full life. He graduated from Roosevelt in 1960. At age 17 he joined the army. He became a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne the following year. At 19 he was promoted to sergeant. He had a brown belt in martial arts, played semi-pro football, was an RN at Atascadero State Hospital, and a hard hat diver who dove for abalone. He ran the L.A. Marathon in his 40’s after training for only two days. Bob owned several businesses including Kodman Transport, Color Glow Auto Painting, and most recently Econo Towing. In 1997, at the age of 54, Bob became a Christian.
Bob is survived by his wife, Marty, daughters Rhonda Padilla (Albert), Kimberlee McDermott (Bob), Cyndi Hafley (Stormy), and two stepchildren, James Holler (Julia) and Leah Holler. Bob is also survived by his grandchildren: Ross Harden, Robbie Harden, Heather Bailey (Jamie), Kari Chick (Joe), and Spencer Hafley and also nine great grandchildren.
He was loved by many family members and friends.
