Robert “Bob” Leo Hernandez was born on September 10, 1938 in Fresno, CA. He passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010. He was a production manager for 32 years at Dow Chemical. He retired in 1992 and enjoyed his remaining years in the company of his wife of 50 years.
He is preceded by his parents, Jess and Jennie Hernandez, his brother Jess Hernandez Jr., and son, Robert J. Hernandez. He is survived by his wife, Lupe Hernandez; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Dan Ruiz; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Alexandra Hernandez; grandchildren, Carolyn and her husband Craig Turner, Erik, Garrett, Valentina, and Quentin; sisters, Linda Avila and Teresa Rios, as well many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
A mass of Catholic burial will be held at St. John’s Cathedral at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2010. Interment to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
