Mr. Richard Thomas Jones

Richard was very proud of his 60 years as an Iron worker. He loved playing Texas Hold'em along with his children and grandchildren as only a father and grandfather could - from singing songs as he drove them to elementary school to sitting through all the kids events like dance recitals and football games.

He is preceded in death by his sister Beverly Bannister.

He is survived by his wife Patti Gatti Jones of 58 years; his brother, Dan Larios and his wife Debbie, their children Scott and Jennifer; his son, Rod Jones and his wife Cynthia and their children, Cassidy, Nicole and Miranda; his daughter, Sandra Efird and her husband Jack and their children Jaclyn, Katie, Chad and Michael.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, May 16, 2011, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at 9:30 a.m.

A Memorial Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at 11:00 a.m.

Remembrances may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
