Richard T. Castro, a resident of Kerman, CA, passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was 78 years old. He was born in El Centro, CA, to Demetria and Luis Castro.
He is survived by Carmen, his loving wife of 50 years; daughter, Paty Holt; son-in-law Jesse; daughter, Rachel Platas; son-in-law Lauro; grandchildren, Lauro Platas, Paloma Platas, Anica Holt, and Pablo Platas; brother, Manuel Castro; sisters, Lupe Garcia, Olga Schortner, and Mary Glenn; and his beloved companion Cookie.
Visitation will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kerman, CA, on Monday, November 6, 2017, at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery.
