Rebecca Torres took her peaceful journey back to our Creator this Valentine's Day. In her 72 years, she managed to help and love everyone she encountered from Mexico to Texas and ultimately those of us in Fresno.
She was an active member of the Church and went above and beyond to fulfill her Catholic duties until the very end.
She lives on through her husband; sisters; children; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was our Easter Bunny, our Santa Claus, and now she will be our Cupid.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Friday, February 20, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
