Raul was married to Mary E. Navarro for 32 years.
He was a Roosevelt High School Graduate and worked in bakeries. He owned Snow White Bakery in Madera, California until he moved to Sacramento, California. Raul retired from the State of California, Department of Social Services as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst.
He was a member of the Jaguar Club and a judge for shows, a Lyon’s Club member, and a member of the Renaissance Society of California in Sacramento. Raul loved to travel the world and he visited Bodego Bay often. He had a passion for football, especially the San Francisco 49ers!
He was a very generous and compassionate person.
Raul is survived by a niece, Delia Garcia; sister, Sally Singh, of Fresno; brother, Carmen Ray Rodriguez and sister-in-law Carmen; and his best friend Donald Mencarini; not to mention many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, April 22,2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Recitation of the Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
