He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Jeanne, daughters Valerie and husband Robert Wong, Adriane and husband Dr. Stanley Louie, 8 grandchildren: Stephanie, Christina, Natalie, Melanie, Danielle and husband Alberto Miranda, Lyndsie, Samantha and Christopher, and great granddaughter, Sophia; brothers Gilbert and Norman and many nieces and nephews.
After he graduated from Edison High School in 1950, he served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from the US Postal Service after 34 years. During retirement he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He enjoyed reading, fishing, bowling and watching sports (football, baseball, basketball). He was a new and used car enthusiast.
He was an active member of the community. In 1975 he joined the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association and served as treasurer for 2 years. He was also the President of the Chinese Golden Dragon Drum Corp. He volunteered many years as the technical support person for Chinese community functions.
