Petra Van Horn

She was a retired data processor for the Fresno County School District. She volunteered for the Fresno Opera Association from the early 70's. Her first love, other than family, was sewing, painting, singing, and dancing. She performed with the New Wrinkles and once helped out as a disc jockey for a Spanish radio station.

Patra will always be remembered for her moxie, overcoming many barriers, and by her sense of adventure. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded by her parents Andreas and Rejina Martinez; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Petra is survived by her children, Kathleen Weber and husband Henry, Tyson J. Van Horn Jr. and wife Robin, Diane Heath and husband Roger; two grandchildren, Jason Heath and wife Cayton and Krystal Heath; sisters, Jovita Cassidy, Nena (Mary) Trimble and husband Ray, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
