Petra Gomez

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Gomez; daughter, Helen Uribe; and her brothers and sisters.

Petra was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She loved being with her family and cooking delicious meals for them, was very generous with her love and time, and was always taking care of all who needed her and loved her.

"She will be greatly missed"

She is survived by her children, Alice Lindsey of Fresno; Bell Camarena of Modesto; Christina Carrasco of Fowler; Margie Govea of Fremont; Jerry Gomez of Sanger; Tommy Gomez; and Sally Gomez Rodriguez both of Fresno; 24 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; and 22 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, 2011 from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 10:00 am. An interment will follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
