Pete Castanon Jr., age 78, of Tranquility, California passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. Pete was born February 17, 1943 in Five Points, California.

Pete is survived by his son Pedro Castanon; his son Andrew Castanon; his son Rudy Castanon; and his daughter Annette Scott; his brother Simon Castanon, his sister Teresa Calderon, his sister Frances Flores and his sister Queenie Perez; his companion Petra.

Pete was preceded in death by his brother Gabriel Castanon and his brother Mike Castanon.

Mr. Castanon also leaves fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren to cherhish his memory.

A rosary service for Pete will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 15437 W. Kearney Blvd., Kerman, CA 93630. Following the rosary service will be a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 15437 W. Kearney Blvd., Kerman, CA 93630.

Serving as pallbearers are Pedro Castanon, Ryan Wright, Scotty Figueroa, Patrick Garcia Taylor, Nikolas Castanon, Dominic Castanon, Mikey Gonzales, Adrian Castanon, Jake Scott, Kevin Scott Jr. and Isaiah Ramirez.
