Michael was born in Cuthbert, Georgia and grew up in a very large and loving family. He decided to move to California in the early 80's and held many IT jobs with Central Valley Agricultural giants such as Bonner Packing, Dole Dried Fruit and Nuts and Sun-Maid Raisin Growers. One of his achievements that he was most proud of was being a Reserve Officer with the Fresno Police Department and on to a Reserve Sheriff Deputy with the Madera Sheriff Department. He was proud to be a part of both forces.
He married and had one child, the love of his life, Catherine Ann Reynolds. Sadly she passed on February 8, 2019. Michael truly never recovered from her loss. He is now with her once again as he wished for so often.
He loved to travel, listen to all kinds of music, NASCAR, wrestling and good action movies. He loved his family and laughing on the phone with his brother and sister so much. He was loved deeply and is missed by all.
He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Connie Reynolds, his sister Sandra Milling and her extended family and brother Dean Lewis and his large family. There are too many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles to mention, but their love for him is enormous and his passing a very sad time.
A very special thank you to St Agnes Health and Hospice for their kindness and support during Michaels last days. Another special thank you to Cassandra from Sr Helpers in Madera for her assistance as well.
As were Michaels wishes, there will be no services. A memorial will be held in the future in his home town of Albany, Georgia at a later date when safe to do so.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Cancer Research Foundation.
