Michael Anthony Palacios II, known affectionately as Mikey, passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 42 in Fresno, California. Michael was born on January 3, 1981, in Fresno, California. Michael was always a kind person who enjoyed making others happy. He had a positive outlook on life and was very close to his family, always ready to lend a hand. Michael was the type of person who engaged others in conversation and took an interest in their lives, making them feel important and loved. Mike really loved his two boys.
Michael is survived by his two young sons, Luke, aged 15, and Ayden, age 12, and their mother, Phyllis Garcia. He was the loving firstborn son of his parents, Michael and Sarita Palacios and the oldest brother of Steven and Kurtis Palacios. Michael leaves behind his grandparents, Aurelio (Lelo) and Emily Palacios and Andra Resendez of Eureka, also numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, and Nephews and Nieces also friends who loved him dearly.
Michael graduated from Clovis West High School and graduated from Fresno City College. He worked as a technician in the electronics field. Also, when not working, he liked nothing more than installing cameras in the homes of family, friends, and neighbors, he helped in any way possible with home repairs. He was a true handyman. He also enjoyed taking his children out on his friend’s boat, day trips to the beach, and building models at home. Michael loved to bake and cook for his family’s enjoyment.
Michael is now joined in heaven with his grandma Mickey, and many other family members who were so important in his life. Michael will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His positive spirit, kindness and love for his family and friends will forever be remembered and cherished
