Matilda Ann Coronado

Matilda Ann Coronado, 54, of Fresno, California, passed away on April 5, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Born on January 6, 1971 in Fresno, California. Matilda was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love.

Throughout her life, Matilda had a deep love for her family and friends, always putting others' needs before her own. Her caring nature and strong spirit were evident in everything she did. She had an infectious smile and a heart of gold, bringing light to the lives of those around her.

Matilda is survived by her husband Jose Coronado, children Melissa Mata, Marissa Torrez, Nicholas McCombs, Jose Coronado Jr, and Jolina Coronado. Her parents Thomas Puentes, and stepmother Ophelia Puentes, Delores Mendoza and stepfather Benny Mendoza. Her siblings Tommy Puentes Jr., Angel Puentes, Anthony Puentes, Frank J. Perez, Norena Cantu and her 8 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Thomas and Maria Puentes and Chano and Dora Zuniga.
