Upon retirement from the County of Fresno and Fresno Unified School District, Mary Louise occupied her time by gardening, cooking, baking and crocheting for her loved ones. During her lifetime, she was fortunate to witness many historical milestones like The Great Depression. Her legacy was to be self sufficient, reliant with strong work ethics.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael G. Saldaña; and her daughter, Mary Villalobos.
Mary Louise is survived by her children, Jess Saldaña and wife Mary Helen, Jack Saldaña, Linda Saldaña, Helen Dieling, and Yolanda Saldaña; sister, Helen Ramirez and extended family which include nephews, nieces, and numerous greatgreat grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, November 5, 2018, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
