Mary Beth (née Wambold) grew up on a farm in Greenfield, Iowa with her parents Clyde and Pearl (née Lydon), and her twin siblings, Janice and Jim. In 1955 she married her high school sweetheart, Daryl Mueller, and moved to Fresno, CA.

She supported her husband, Daryl, in his various leadership roles in Knights of Columbus. This introduced her to Silver Fox. She became an active member and enjoyed the many events with the other members. Mary Beth was an avid quilter. She enjoyed the comradery of her quilting class and blessed her family with her precious talent. She also looked forward to her Bunco groups.
