Maryann Martinez born August 24, 1952. Raised in Tracy, CA, graduating in 1970 from Tracy High. She attended UOP in Stockton Ca, then transferred to USC. After college she moved to Oakland, CA and worked for Sherwin Williams for 12 years. Then she moved to San Jose and landed a job at Lusamerica Food Inc. in 1994 and spent short of 23 years.
Maryann was a Loyal Raiders fan, a season ticket holder since 1995 and would follow her raiders anywhere they went. She enjoyed going to games with family and friends, tail gating and cheering. She loved accessories and refined taste in clothes and furniture she loved to collect Dooney and Burke merchandise and enjoyed shopping. She was kind, thoughtful, loveable and generous. When giving any gift it reflected everything about her. She was respected and loved by all many calling her Aunt Maryann. Although she battled illness for many years including cancer. She was strong and brave never allowing pain, and her battles changer her demeanor. Battling her health issues she stayed busy enjoying the company she worked for. In recent years she traveled several times to Santa Barbara enjoying the central coast. She was very faithful to her patron Saint Guadalupe. Her memory is carried on by her friends.
She leaves behind her mother Pama Renteria, brother Thomas Leo Martinez, nephew Cosme Martinez, cousins, close friends, and her work family. She is preceeded in death by her father Guadalupe Martinez.
