Marlin was a man with a strong faith. He loved God, the love of his life his wife Olga, his family and friends. He touch- ed many hearts.
You will be missed, God's faithful servant.
Marlin was preceded in death by his mother, Angie Tonozzi Parisi; and his father, Joseph Cavalla.
Marlin is survived by his wife Olga; his brother, Robert Cavalla; his sister, Grace McKnight and her husband Wayne; his sons, Steve Cavalla and his wife Linda, Russ Cavalla and his wife Janice, Mark Cavalla and his wife Linda and Rick Cavalla and his wife Grace; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many extended family; and longtime friends who held a special place in his heart.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, February 10, 2011, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Friday, February 11, 2011; at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church Outreach; or St. Agnes Hospice.
