Marie Carmen Torres

Marie was born June 29th, 1968 to Pauline and Trinidad Torres. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and spent the next 38 years as a dedicated public servant working for the IRS. She enjoyed traveling wherever she could, being with her family, and a good margarita.

Marie is lovingly remembered by her mother Pauline and brother Joseph; husband Mark; her daughter Natalie and son-in-law Joshua; and son Christopher.

She was preceded in death by her brother Michael and father Trinidad.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 29th from 4 – 8 PM at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns, and Blair Funeral Home; 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720. A Mass will be held on Friday, August 30th at 9 AM at St. John’s Cathedral; 2814 Mariposa St, Fresno, CA 93721.
