Marie Dortch passed away surrounded by her loved one on August 23, 2011 at the age of 59. Marie was employed by Fresno Unified School District for 26 years. She was born in Pittsburg, CA on November 27, 1951 to Andrew and Georgia Strusis.
Marie will also be remembered by her loving family members and long time friends. Everyone who knew Marie well know how much she loved to take trips up the mountain to see Indians. You will always be remembered and kept close to our hearts. We love you tootsie.
She is survived by her loving husband Dave of 36 years; and children, David, Tony and Nicole Dortch. She is the sister of Connie Triantis, Elaine Tekelidis, and Louie Strusis.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
A Trisagion and Funeral Service will be held at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
