Maria Tapia was born on February 9, 1930 in Sabinas Hgo, Mexico to Romulo and Celestina Trevino and passed away on March 25, 2012 in Fresno, California at the age of 82. She was a homemaker.
Maria is survived by her children, Manuel Avila of Madera, Elias Avila of Madera, Maria Rincon of Fresno, Yolanda Avila of Selma and Rachel Martinez of Fresno, 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at Lisle Funeral home on Thursday, March 30, 2012 starting at 10:00 am and followed by a Rosary Service will be held at Lisle Calaveras Chapel, Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 7:00 pm.
Mass Service at St. John Cathedral on Friday, March 31, 2012 at 9:00 am. Interment St. Peters Cemetery.
