Maria Rosario Rivas, age 82, of Fresno, California passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Maria was born in Coeneo de la Libertad, Michoacán, Mexico to Maximina Vargas and Victoriano Gomez.

Maria is survived by her daughter Olga Martinez Gomez.

Maria was preceded in death by her father Victoriano Gomez and her mother Maximina Vargas.

Miss. Rivas also leaves behind numerous family and friends to cherish her memory.

A rosario for Maria will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Fresno, 475 North Broadway, Fresno, CA 93701. A celebración de vida will occur Friday, December 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Fresno.
