Maria de Jesus "Tia Chuy" Martinez, age 75, of Fresno, California passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024. Tia Chuy was born in El Arco, Michoacán, Mexico to Esther Lupercio and Jesus Calvillo.

Tia Chuy is survived by her niece Teresa Ochoa.

Tia Chuy was preceded in death by her father Jesus Calvillo and her mother Esther Lupercio.

Ms. Martinez leaves behind numerous friends and family to cherish her memory.

A visitation for Tia Chuy will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Fresno, 475 N. Broadway Street, Fresno, CA. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 475 N. Broadway Street, Fresno, CA. A committal will occur Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Mountain View Cemetery, 1411 W Belmont Ave, Fresno, CA 93728.
