Marcy Frances Strle Robison passed away tragically on September 24, 2024 at the age of 37. Marcy was known for her kindness, beautiful smile, joyful attitude, zest for life, willingness to see the best in everyone, and the ability to reach out and connect with anyone, especially children. She was a wonderful daughter, a best friend to her sisters, a loving wife and mother, a great granddaughter and always loving to her nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and extended family. She was a loyal friend, so encouraging to her students, fellow teachers and coworkers and always willing to help others. She was also humble about her own knowledge and abilities because she was so down to earth. She touched the lives of so many and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and colleagues.
Marcy is survived by her husband Kris Robison and their children Malia and Kobe; her father Michael Strle; her mother Elaine Loring and her husband Dennis; her sister Kelly Baranzini and her husband Nick and their children Mack and Colbie; her sister Rene’ DeVito and her husband Joe and their children Domenico and Alessia and her grandmother Bettye Sturla. She is also survived by her husband’s family, Ken Robison, Karla Coleman, Kianni Robison, Kalea Robison and Rosemarie Riley.
Marcy was born in Los Angeles on March 10, 1987 to her parents Mike and Elaine. She grew up happily with her sisters Kelly and Rene’ in Northridge, CA and then in 1997 they moved to Brentwood, CA. She danced, played soccer, played softball, swam, and played water polo and she gave her all in every sport that she did. She was an honor student and graduated in 2005 from Liberty High School and then attended college at California Polytechnic State University- San Luis Obispo. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development in 2010. She was a preschool teacher from March 2010-January 2013 until she started teaching for the Clovis School District as a Resource Specialist from October 2014-June 2017. While teaching Marcy attended California State University at Fresno and obtained her Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential- Special Education and Teaching in 2015 and received her Master of Arts-Special Education and Teaching in 2016.
Marcy met her future husband Kris in 2016 and they were married in 2019 at Newport Beach, CA. They moved to Los Angeles and Marcy taught Special Education with the Pomona Unified School District from August 2017 – October 2022. Marcy and Kris returned to Clovis to live and Marcy was a Resource Specialist- Special Education Teacher from November 2022 to September 2024. She was teaching at Bud Rank Elementary School where she has posthumously received the Crystal Award for going above and beyond what is required and someone who cares deeply to make a difference in the lives of their students and school community.
Marcy and Kris welcomed their daughter Malia in 2021 and then their son Kobe early in 2024. She dearly loved being a mother and found so much happiness with her children. She loved being with her husband, family and especially loved sharing the raising of children with her two sisters, their husbands and her close friends too. Marcy lived her life with limitless joy. She loved her job and teaching was her passion. Her favorite place was the beach and she spent many happy times with her family and celebrating life events there. She loved going to shows, plays, musicals, concerts and new places with her husband; she loved reading and listening to mystery podcasts; she loved singing and dancing; she loved playing cards and games with family and friends; she loved cooking as well as going out to eat; she loved painting her nails bright colors; she loved using her Cricut machine to make gifts for family, friends and school projects; she loved being with her girlfriends and always loved being with her family. She was a kind, loving, joyful earth angel and will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but never forgotten.
