Louis, graduated from Roosevelt High School, continued his education at Fresno City College receiving
a Certificate in Auto Mechanics. Went on to service in the Army during the Korean Cold War. A member of the Post 8900 in Fresno, Ca.
Married Lupe Diaz, December 25th, 1956 and was married for 63 Blessed Years.
Survived by his loving wife Lupe and had four children. Ronald Duran, Rachel Rodriguez and Javier Duran and a son Gregory Duran was called by our Lord in 1968.
Grandpa Louis, has three grandchildren, Gregory, Gabriel and Selena Rodriguez.
Louis Duran began his business career with D&L Garage. Went on to have a Texaco Gas Station with
auto work on the side.
In May of 1975, Louis opened "Javier's Restaurant". From here he worked very hard and diligently
to make this business a great success.
Louis Duran, loved to play golf and saw potential in a Golf course west of Fresno. Again, Louis put
many hours to bring this course back to the people and had many fund raiser tournaments. This
course helped many organization's as well as Farmers and any Golfer who loved the game of GOLF.
Business, brought him satisfaction especially with all the persons he was able to meet. Louis, loved
to learn from others, and especially loved to give. In, giving Louis said, He will receive and that he did.
A visitation for Louis will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Holy Spirit Church, 355 E. Champlain Drive, Fresno, CA 93730. A rosary service will occur Monday, February 28, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 355 E. Champlain Drive, Fresno, CA 93730. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 355 E. Champlain Drive, Fresno, CA 93730. A committal service will occur Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at St Peters Cemetery, 264 N Blyth Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
