Lisa Marie Renwick (Pinedo), passed peacefully on March 6th, 2023, surrounded by the loving care of family and friends. Born on July 25th, 1969, to Tangy and Rico Pinedo, Lisa was a special, late addition to their family. Hoping for a boy, Rico soon realized how blessed he was to have another daughter, one of three accomplished women he and Tangy raised.
Lisa attended San Joaquin Memorial high school, where she participated in cheer. Previously, at age four, she was the Panther Mascot. She continued cheer and dance at Fresno City College, the California Bowl, eventually becoming a popular and much-loved dance teacher at The Dance Studio and Cynthia Merrill.
She obtained a Legal Assistant Certification from Heald College in Fresno, and worked for the Alger and Alger Law firm, before becoming a highly valued member of the staff at the law offices of Gilmore, Magness, and Janisse
A devoted mother to two wonderful children, Tyler Simon Renwick and Kerry Alicia Renwick, Lisa committed her time and energy to the Mended Little Heart and Camp Taylor charities. She was also the proud soccer mom to her daughter, Kerry, for 14 years. To the dismay of her son, Tyler, a 49ers follower, Lisa was a Dallas Cowboys fan, who often wore blue and silver just to annoy him.
Remembered for her gentle spirit and easy laugh, Lisa is also survived by her sisters Debra Erven (Chuck) and Patricia Wilson (Chris), her former husband, Greg Renwick, her boyfriend, Ruben Hernandez, innumerable aunties, uncles, and cousins, and the countless friends from high school and a life well-lived. She will be missed, but we’re comforted by the knowledge that she’s in the embrace of her mother and father.
A deep and heartfelt thanks to Lisa Shortly, Hinds Hospice, Auni Puahi Shapazian, Ranelle Moreau, Vivian Hernandez, Rana Yamamura, Gilmore, Magness, and Janisse, and Duanna Smith. And to the many more who offered kindness and assistance in her difficult time.
A memorial honoring her life will to be held at a later date.
