Linda (née Laureano) was born on May 8, 1951 to John and Opal Laureano, in Hanford, CA. She grew up in Hollister, CA with her parents, sister, and near her extended family. She graduated from San Benito Joint Union High School in 1969. A few years later she followed her mother and sister to the Fresno area.
In Fresno, Linda met Jim Roberts, and they were married on June 4, 1977. In 1985, she graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She worked as a physical therapist for over 30 years, caring deeply for her patients. In 1988, her son Nicholas was born. Linda finally retired in June 2017.
Linda always put her faith and family first. She was compassionate, reliable, and ever generous. She was an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction. She loved to travel, and enjoyed the National Parks. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and her decorating abilities were peerless. Animals, especially her cats, were another great love.
Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jim; her son, Nicholas; her sister, Sandy; her nieces: Brianna, Kristi, and Nicole; her great-nephew, Matthew; and her great-niece, Katie.
