Lester Potthast passed away peacefully on October 24, 2011. Lester retired after working in the insurance industry for 35 plus years as a claims manager for Aetna and a sales agent for the Knights of Columbus.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and graduate of St. Louis University. He was married for over 60 years to his loving wife Patricia. He participated in many civic and fraternal organizations including the Knights of Columbus and the Serra Club. He recently moved back to Fresno after spending 20 plus years in retirement, playing golf at Pine Mountain Lake near Groveland, Ca.
Lester is survived by his wife, Patricia; his son, Matthew and wife Ellita; daughter, Lucy and husband David; grandchildren, Christopher, Joseph, Marie and Jacob; and great-grandchildren Kimber and Faith.
