Dale was born on September 19, 1946 in Salisbury, Maryland to Leonard and Beulah Barnes. He was a wonderful husband and father. Dale was an avid Raider fan that enjoyed working on small engine repair. Dale loved talking on his CB radio, his handle was Hillbilly. He passed away on September 27, 2018.
Dale was preceded in death by his grandson Andrew Lauer.
Dale is survived by his wife Roxanna Barnes, children; Leonard Dale Barnes Jr., Greg Vaughn Barnes and his wife Cheryl, Bryan Barnes and his wife Sarah, Janette Wagoner and husband Lonnie, Christi Lauer, his brother; Danny Barnes Sr., Dale also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery 32053 McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA 95322.
