Mr. Lance Frederick Mahoney

Lance was a kind, loving, brilliant and compassionate person who would give you the shirt off his back and could always make something from nothing. Lance lived each and every day to its fullest and brought life to all who encountered him.

Lance grew up in Fresno and spent some of the happiest days of his life in Capitola with his grandparents, Mom, Dad and brother going to the Boardwalk and to the beach. Lance moved from Fresno to Southern California in his twenties where he fell back in love with the beach. Lance met and fell in love with his wonderful girlfriend, Corrine, whom he had been talking about asking to marry him. Lance passed away in her arms.

The world truly will not be the same without Lance. Lance lived each and every day of his life with courage and strength and had found happiness. He is now with the lord.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

He will be missed by so many people. He is survived by his father Lance; mother Patricia; brothers, Michael and Travis; sisters, Tammy and Tonja; his niece, Sofia Grace; and his numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, June 5, 2014, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, June 6, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Clovis Cemetery.
