L. E. Owens

He enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 18 and served his country for three years during World War II.

L.E. Married Mary Thompson on May 1, 1946 and had one daughter Peggy. L.E. owned a grocery store, the bowling alley and the High Hat in Firebaugh. He moved to Stockton in 1985 and retired from managing March Lane 76.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in- law Peggy and Bill McGuinn of Lodi, Ca; three granchildren Brent and wife Tracy Kreighbaum of Dos Palos, Ca, Rhondi and husband Hugh McClure of Mobile, AL, Scott and wife Amy Kreighbaum of Atwater, Ca and seven great grandchildren Brandon, Maggie, Erik, Dylan, Bella, Macy and Jace.

Visitation will be held at the Lisle Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at the Fresno Memorial Gardens.
