He was known for his hard work and dedication to caring for his family. He loved to play, coach and watch soccer. He also loved fishing and watching the Pittsburg Steelers and, most importantly, he loved his family. He inspired his children with his religious beliefs, his work ethics and his love of life.
He is survived by his amazing and loving wife of 58 years, Christine; his loving son Robert Buerger and wife Tracy; daughters Loretta Cameron and husband Lou, Monika Buerger and husband Michael Saunders. His grandchildren, Erika Altaffer, Kristopher Buerger, Cody Cameron and Dakota Cameron. And his three great grandchildren, Ayden, Alayna, and Emmalynn Altaffer.
He will be deeply missed by his entire family.
