Kirk was born in Hong Kong on December 8th, 1957. His family lived a simple life; his father Norman was a shoemaker, and his mother Nancy stayed at home to take care of their 3 boys. The family eventually fled the country to start a new life in California, where Kirk continued education at Madera High School. As the eldest son, he worked a variety of jobs to support his family. Despite this, he always made time for fishing, hunting, and cooking with his friends.
On July 24th, 1983, Kirk married his loving wife, Dorothy. He then moved to Dinuba where he became the Meat Department Manager at United Market. He brought years of experience working as a butcher in his previous jobs. Kirk eventually became a staple in the Dinuba community; everyone seemed to know "Kirky".
Kirk never really retired; he continued to visit the store nearly every single day where he greeted customers and became an advisor to help open other United Market locations in the Valley.
Kirk is survived by his wife Dorothy, son Kyle, and two brothers Craig and David. We love you Kirky Turkey.
