Keri was born on March 23, 1977, in Fresno, CA, and enjoyed working in her family's business for the past 20 years.
Dating back to her early childhood, Keri discovered her passion for animals. From kittens, to dogs, to wooly lambs, Keri adored them all. Keri was most happy when she was out at the barn with friends, riding atop Rap, her horse, or rescuing a stray. Her compassionate heart graciously cared for all things fuzzy, furry, and feathery.
Over the years, Keri's circle of friends became part of her extended family. She was an adopted "Auntie K-K" who delighted in all her "nieces and nephews'" special occasions and activities.
Keri's devotion to her immediate family was unwavering. Since the passing of her Papa, Pat Ricchiuti, in 2008, Keri spent the past eight years residing with her beloved Nonna, Frances Ricchiuti. This act of kindness is a true testament of Keri's character.
Keri will forever be missed for her spirited personality, tender heart, and endearing smile.
Keri was preceded in death by her father, Fred Rau; and grandfathers, Pat Ricchiuti and Harold Rau.
Keri is survived by her mother, Lorene Rau and her husband Sam Mushegan; brother, Freddy Rau and his wife Leslie; grandmothers, Frances Ricchiuti and Dorothy Taylor; and many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co- workers.
