Karen Sue Causey

Karen was born on April 16, 1952, in Lejeune, North Carolina, to Floyd J. Causey and Tessie Causey. Raised in a military family, Karen developed a deep sense of duty and service from an early age. She pursued her passion for service and aviation and enlisted in the United States Air Force, where she distinguished herself over a remarkable career spanning several decades.

Throughout her military service, Karen demonstrated exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to her country. As a Master Chief, she earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues and superiors alike for her professionalism, integrity, and commitment to excellence. Her contributions to the Air Force and her country were significant and enduring.

Karen's passion for adventure and exploration extended beyond her military duties. She enjoyed traveling and experiencing new cultures, always eager to learn and broaden her horizons. Her adventurous spirit and positive outlook on life were infectious, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

In her leisure time, Karen enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Her warm smile and compassionate nature endeared her to all who crossed her path.

Karen Sue Causey leaves behind a legacy of honor, courage, and service. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and colleagues, who will forever remember her strength of character and unwavering dedication to duty.

A memorial service to celebrate Karen's life will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel on July 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM, located at 202 N. Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706. A Committal Service will follow immediately after the funeral at Fresno Memorial Gardens, located at 175 S. Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Karen's commitment to supporting veterans.

Karen's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
