Sadly, his youngest daughter, Pamela McCoy, passed just 31 days prior to her dad.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ellen of 63 years, daughters, Carrie Reed and Lisa Gibson, her husband Andy, and son-in-law, Alan McCoy.
Survived by many grandchildren, Austin Reed and his wife Kelsey, Cassidy Reed, Stefani Fernandez and her husband Danny, Ryan Gibson, Jessika Hood and husband Kamron, Michael McCoy, and great-grandson, Carson Hood.
He is also survived by his sister, Mildred Logan and her sons Paul and Sandy.
Mike was a carpenter all his life and received much recognition for his work throughout the Valley. He was known as a practical joker on the job and we all loved hearing those stories!
Finishing out his career at FUSD, Mike retired and hung up his belt in 2008.
Once retired, he enjoyed his motorcycles, hot rods and loved spending time with his family.
He also had a love for pin striping and enjoyed sharing his work with family and friends.
There is no way to measure the depth of our loss during this time.

Service will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, in Fresno, on Sunday August 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
