Joanne Fleming, a resident of Fresno, CA for more than 60 years, died peacefully on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the age of 94. Her husband, Jack, passed away in 2001. She served as the editor of the California Gymnastics Newsletter for many years and also as a judge for Special Olympics gymnastics and ice skating competitions. She sang in the Choir at Sacred Heart Church and later loved attending Mass at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.
