

"Nene"
Jeannine was born to Stana and Luka Sijakovich, Yugoslav immigrants on August 17, 1929 in Fresno. She graduated from Roosevelt High School, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California in 1951.
A respected FUSD educator for over 30 years, she had the honor of being asked to be one of the proud teachers to open Manchester GATE school, to educate gifted and talented students. School projects included many study trips which proved to be her passion; Kennedy Space Center and Epcot Science Center in Florida was a favorite for extended learning presentations.
During her time Jeannine was a member of many parent teacher groups, as well as Women's Symphony League, St. Agnes Guild, St. Anthony of Padua Women's Society, Fresno Art Museum, USC Alumni, where she served as scholarship chair, Serbian Mother's Club, and the Trojan League.
Jeannine will be missed by her sister, Evelyn Miljevich; and her children, Bradford Miller, Morgan and Sandy Miller, Stacy and Chris Siakovich Inshaw. Nene also leaves eight adoring grandchildren; two great-grandchildren in California; and many good friends who had the fortune of knowing her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
